Viewing, Updating or Restricting Your Information
To view the information that Religionsource displays about you, sign
in. Once you are signed in . . .
- go to the "Search the Database" area at the top of any screen
- click on "By Scholar Last Name"
- type your last name in the blank search box
- click the "Search" button, and once the next screen appears
- scroll down, click on your full name, and once the next screen appears
- view this "Scholar Detail" screen, which displays your information
To update the information that Religionsource displays about you, please email
changes to info@religionsource.org.
If email is unavailable, please fax 404-727-7959 (attn: Religionsource) or call
us at 404-727-4725. For journalists to benefit from your insight, it's particularly
important to let us know when your email address, phone numbers, or institutional
affiliation change.
You may prevent your home phone number or other contact information from displaying
in Religionsource by signing in,
if you haven't already done so, and clicking My Account (on the menu bar on
the upper right-hand side of the screen). However, Religionsource strongly discourages
you from doing so. You are unlikely to find journalists' contact intrusive;
with 5,000 scholars in the database, few scholars are likely to receive more
than one call a year. And unless journalists can reach you quickly, they probably
won't benefit from your insight.
