Designed to work well for journalists, Religionsource is unlikely to serve scholars' needs as well as library databases, which are designed with scholars in mind. Religionsource offers search assistance only to journalists, who, unlike scholars, have scant time and training for tracking down academic sources. To conserve network resources so journalists get results quickly, generally only scholars listed in the database are authorized to use it.

Click here to learn about the criteria for being listed in the database. If you have questions about being listed, please contact us. If you are scholar who has been notified that you are in the database, sign in below.

To change the info that Religionsource displays about you, sign in using the Scholar Sign-In form below and then click My Account (on the menu bar on the upper right-hand side of the screen).

Your participation in Religionsource improves journalists' access to academic sources. Improved access leads to increased use of scholars as sources, making it more likely that the media will better inform the public about religion and that the public will value more the work that you and other scholars do. Thanks for participating.
