Religionsource Staff

Susan Snider: Susan is the main contact for journalists, scholars and others. She is the Director of Religionsource and the Associate Director of External Relations for the American Academy of Religion, where she's been on staff since 2001. Susan has more than ten years of experience in nonprofit administration, including three years at Scholars Press. She has a bachelor's degree in religion and philosophy from Wesleyan College.

Steve Herrick: Steve is the Founding Director of Religionsource and the Chief Information Officer for the American Academy of Religion, where he's been on staff since 1994. He has more than twenty-five years of experience in nonprofit administration, including ten years at Amnesty International where his work included developing publicity campaigns and serving as a spokesperson. He has a master's degree in public administration from Harvard’s Kennedy School, where he concentrated on the nonprofit sector; a master’s in political science from Clark Atlanta University, where he concentrated on religion and law; and a master’s in management of information technology from the University of Virginia.
